Community food projects come in all shapes and sizes. They may run for a few weeks such as a community cooking course or they may be more permanent, such as a community garden. They may vary in size, from a small lunch club to a large established organisation with a warehouse and training kitchen. It is difficult to provide a list of all the community food initiatives or projects in Scotland, but here is a list of intermediary organisations who may have directories or maps. Its also worth checking the community food networks section – many local projects will join local networks to meet with peers, make plans and share practice.
