Learning to cater for the general public and other customers requires a whole range of skills including cooking techniques.
All staff and volunteers working in community cafes and other community catering initiatives should be trained in food and nutrition and food hygiene, and be aware of health and safety issues.
You can also get SQA qualifications in hospitality and catering.
