Perth and Kinross Healthy Communities Collaborative new case study

A case study about the work of Perth and Kinross Healthy Communities Collaborative has been added to the case studies section of our website. The Collaborative works with older people in Birnam and Dunkeld. It takes an asset-based approach to its work, which focuses on healthy diets and eating well.

CFHS conference report

Community Food and Health (Scotland) hosted a national networking conference in October 2014. The aim of the conference was to provide a valuable day for those involved in tackling health inequalities through community food activity. The conference report can be accessed here.

Community retailing roundtable

In September, CFHS held a roundtable meeting to discuss the future of community retailing, especially community-run food co-ops, fruit stalls and barras. Representatives from five community food initiatives that support food co-ops took part. Eat Better Feel Better Campaign

The Eat Better Feel Better team would like to thank you for your ongoing support and help in promoting the Scottish Government’s Eat Better Feel Better Campaign. The campaign launched at the beginning of January, so hopefully you will have had a chance to spot some of the campaign assets on TV, radio, in local community centres or in your local supermarket.
