Sainsbury’s Scottish Community Grant Fund open

Sainsbury’s Community Grant Fund closes on 28 February. The Fund uses proceeds from the sale of 5p single use carrier bags to provide grants of up £500 to support work which fits with Sainsbury’s core values of food, family, kids and health and also arts, environment and social welfare.

Education Scotland ‘Food for Thought’ Fund Open

The Food for Thought Fund closes on 29 March. Local authority schools and nurseries can apply for up to £3000 to improve learning and teaching within food education in Curriculum for Excellence.

ASDA Carrier Bag Community Grants – Foundation Scotland

Asda has committed all proceeds from the sale of the 5p single-use carrier bags across their 62 stores in Scotland to charitable causes. The Asda Carrier Bag Community Grants will provide up to £2000 to help projects and good causes in their local communities.
