Scottish Health Survey: Content Review

The Scottish Health Survey team have launched a review of its content and are encouraging all current and prospective users to take part. The review will assess the current content of the survey with a view to informing decisions for the survey from 2024 onwards. The aims of the review are:

  • To understand how existing data is being used by key stakeholders
  • To identify whether any existing data is no longer needed and can be removed from the survey
  • To identify whether there is a need to update the questions asked about specific topics
  • To identify whether there is a need for any new topics or physical measurements to potentially be included in the survey

The survey is open until the 26th September 2022. A detailed paper about the content review, along with a full list of the topics and questions included in the survey, are available on the Scottish Government website.
