GSK IMPACT Awards

The GSK IMPACT Awards provide funding, training and development for charities doing work to improve people’s health and wellbeing. They are open to registered  charities that are at least three years old, and working in a health-related field in the UK. More information and details of how to apply on The King’s Fund website.

Map of UK local food insecurity of adults January 2021

A collaboration between researchers at the University of Sheffield and the Food Foundation has produced a map showing local authority levels of adult food insecurity across the UK in January 2021. Sir George Earle Benevolent Fund Grant Programme

This new funding programme, delivered by Foundation Scotland, offers grants of up to £3000 to organisations in Scotland working to address loneliness and isolation in older people. Enabling Neighbourhoods and Communities Fund

The Enabling Neighbourhoods and Communities Fund has reopened for applications with refreshed criteria. The Enabling Neighbourhoods and Communities Fund is a £1 million Scottish Government fund administered by Corra Foundation. Over £600,000 has been distributed in phase one (February – May 2021). The next phase, commencing 1st July, will support groups to access the remaining funds. …

Volunteering Support Fund 2021-2024

The Broken Plate 2021

The Food Foundation’s report on the state of the nation’s food system finds that healthier foods are three times more expensive (calorie for calorie) compared with less healthier foods.
