Restrictions on promotions of food and drink high in fat, sugar and salt
The Scottish Government is seeking views on a new policy to restrict ‘unhealthier food and drink promotions’ and reduce the health harms associated with the excess consumption of calories.. The Scottish parliament has passed the final phase of the Good Food Nation Bill. The Scottish Government, local authorities and health boards will be required to develop Good Food Nation plans.
