Views sought on strategy for older people

The Scottish Government has recently launched a consultation on improving health and social care for older people in Scotland. Responses are sought from older people and the organisations that support them, as well as health professionals and social care staff. How can we address health inequalities? Your views needed

The Health, Social Care and Sport Committee is undertaking an inquiry into health inequalities in Scotland. The inquiry includes finding out views on how the third sector can contribute to addressing health inequalities. The call for views closes on 31 March 2022. The People’s Health Trust have recently launched this new funding programme  for local groups (in some parts of Scotland) wanting to create fairer places to grow, live, work and age.
