HFSS Regulations Scotland
From 1 October, new regulations will come into force that will change how foods and drinks high in fat, salt or sugar are promoted in larger stores across Scotland.
Evidence shows that our food environment influences the choices we make every day. These new regulations are designed to reduce the prominence of less healthy food and drink promotions in locations such as store entrances and checkouts, while supporting a retail environment where healthier options are easier to access.
More guidance on the regulations can be found on the Scottish Government website
