Evidence and impact of community food work and Good Food Nation

In September we, along with CHEX and Common Health Assets, will join the Living Good Food Nation Lab Grassroots and Community Forum.

In the Lab’s September forum:

  • We will speak about our scoping review on what evidence there is, or what we need, in terms of the community food sector.
  • Community Health Exchange (CHEX) will speak about how it supports the wider community sector to gather evidence, report impact and make the links to policy
  • The Common Health Assets project will outline the approaches they took to map evidence of the impact of the third sector, particularly community-led work.

16 September 2026
12 pm -1 pm
Online via Teams

Presenters will talk about their work broadly in relation to Local Good Food Nation Plans (i.e., demonstrate the variety and importance of community-led work, and how it could (and must) intersect with the development and implementation of local plans).

The presentations will be followed by discussion/Q&A.

You can register for the forum on Microsoft Teams
