Love Food Hate Waste Cookery Classes funding opportunity
Posted: January 9, 2015
The Children’s Food Trust is working with WRAP (The Waste and Resources Action Programme) to deliver LFHW (Love Food Hate Waste) Cookery Classes across the UK, including Glasgow.
The project is open to all, whether you’re an existing Let’s Get Cooking Club or not, and schools and community organisations are all eligible to take part.
To be part of the project, up to two club leaders from participating organisations will need to attend a two day practical training course in their city between Monday 19 January and Friday 6 March 2015 and a one-day follow-up events between Monday 14 September and Friday 30 October 2015.
Each Club will need to run two blocks of five cookery classes, which will include one celebration event per block, between March 2015 and March 2016. Cookery Classes should be aimed at adults from your local community but parent and child cookery classes are welcomed.
