CFHS and the Food and Health Alliance (FHA)- NHS Health Scotland, have been piloting regional networking events to improve links with food activity across the food chain.
A food networking event took place on 1 May in Galashiels in collaboration with NHS Scottish Borders and Scottish Borders Council. The event focused on showcasing food activities in the Scottish Borders and challenges and solutions to local food access and availability.

Participants created a map (PDF 35 kb) of organisations and communities represented at the event. This provided a snapshot of who is linking with whom in the Scottish Borders around, food, the local economy and the environment which can be used for future networking.
