The state of Scottish volunteering
During 2024 Volunteer Scotland undertook several research projects about volunteering. Amongst its findings it concludes that volunteering is in crisis, the cost of living crisis is closing doors to volunteer participation and the demographic profile of Scotland’s volunteers is changing.
