We’re launching interactive online sessions to bring together community food initiatives (CFIs) across Scotland. Each session will tackle a key challenge facing CFIs, with space to share experiences, ideas, and solutions. To instigate deeper conversations, sessions will include a choice of breakout groups for peer connection.
Who are these for?
Our online peer sessions are suitable for volunteer or paid practitioners who are currently working with or within a community food initiative that supports access to good food. These sessions are for you if you wish to discuss current issues and network with your peers in small groups. We will limit the number of people who attend each session to ensure everyone gets a chance to talk about their work. You can attend these on a one-off basis or register for any of our further sessions planned for later in the year.
The first of these online sessions will take place on
Tuesday 23 September 2025
11 am – 12.15 pm
Building a more resilient community food sector: ensuring access to affordable, acceptable, sustainable and nutritious food.
The session will include an introduction to the theme; breakout groups so you can talk about your work with others; followed by feedback from the facilitators and a further chance for you to discuss your thoughts with others attending other groups.
