Empowered Communities – Active Citizens workshops
As part of a pan European programme working to address the exclusion of marginalised communities through increased democratic participation, the Scottish Community Development Centre and other partners in Scotland are holding three national workshops (culminating in a future trans-national workshop) with practitioners, community activists and policy makers to engage them in dialogue on current community development practice and how this can be developed and strengthened to enable us to collectively meet the challenges ahead.
The workshops are as follows: • Glasgow – 7th February 2013 • Edinburgh – 14th February 2013 • Dundee – 28th February 2013 All three workshops will run from 1pm – 4.30pm, and venues will be confirmed shortly).
