Next steps for Nursery Milk
The UK Government’s consultation on Next Steps for Nursery Milk is currently underway. Following the summer break the UK Government is providing extra time for schools and nurseries and any others to respond to the consultation. The new closing date of the consultation is Tuesday, 23 October 2012. The consultation paper, the impact assessment and equality analysis can be accessed on the Department of Health website by visiting http://consultations.dh.gov.uk/nurserymilk/nextsteps
The UK Government is also asking all childcare providers currently registered with the scheme to complete a simple survey about how the scheme works for them now and how potential changes might affect them and the children they care for. The deadline for this survey has also been extended to 30 September. The survey address is:
