FSS recruiting new Board members

Food Standards Scotland are recruiting new Board members and are looking for applications from the widest possible range of people so that collectively, the Board will have the breadth and depth of skills and experience it requires. The closing date for applications is 1st August 2022. More information is available here.

Good Food Nation

The Scottish parliament  has passed the final phase of the Good Food Nation Bill. The Scottish Government, local authorities and health boards will be required to develop Good Food Nation plans. A Commission will be set up to scrutinise progress. You can read news about the Good Food Nation Bill on the Scottish Government website

Dandelion Harvest Grants

The Dandelion Harvest Grants Programme aims to support new and established growers to participate in the Dandelion Harvest weekend on September 10th and 11th. There are two funds available, one for new growers and one for established growers. The closing date for applications is Friday 20 May. Find out more on the Dandelion website
