Community Food and Health (Scotland) has an annual development fund available for groups and agencies in Scotland that wish to improve access to, and take up of, a healthy, varied and balanced diet.
Funding from £500 to £3000 is available and funding recipients are expected to spend their money within one year.
The 2018 development fund has now closed.
We will write to all 2018 development fund applicants in early September 2018 to let them know if their application has been successful or not. A full list of successful development fund applicants from 2018 can be found here.
We plan to run a development fund in 2019. Further information will be available on this website and in our free newsletter, Fare Choice.
What will we fund?
The development fund is open to groups and agencies that would like to tackle one or more of the barriers to healthy eating, such as affordability or availability, and the negative impact of culture and lack of food skills.
Who can apply?/Who can’t apply
We welcome applications from groups and agencies working with or within low-income communities throughout Scotland.
Individuals and/or private companies cannot apply for a grant from us.
