SUMMARY:Community Food Practices' Impact on Health Inequalities
DESCRIPTION:The aim of this event is to bring key stakeholder groups such as the numerous community social enterprises working together to improve diet and health outcomes within disadvantaged communities. \nThe event will consider the barriers to a healthy diet\, and social enterprise approaches to reducing these barriers.  Expected outcomes will be: shared learning\, a good\, social enterprise and health research agenda\, and the development of sector-informed research projects. \nThis event is intended for social enterprises interested in food and a means of tackling health inequalities.  It may also interest policy makers in the field of social enterprise\, community food policy or health inequality. \nThis event is part of Engage with Strathclyde\, a week of events promoting the University of Strathclyde’s external partnerships.
