Public Health Scotland consultation – have your say

The Scottish Government has now issued the formal public consultation on the statutory establishment of Public Health Scotland, to be open to responses over the next 6 weeks.

This consultation is a key formal step in setting up Public Health Scotland.  The questions in the consultation cover a variety of issues surrounding the legislation that will enable the organisation to be set up, including its formal functions, involvement in community planning and governance and accountability arrangements.

For more information about the role of Public Health Scotland, and how to contribute to the consultation, visit the Public Health Reform website.
