Community Food and Health (Scotland) is offering a series of learning opportunities to volunteers and paid staff involved in food work with minority ethnic communities. CFHS is fully funding these courses so that they can be free to participants.
The need for more opportunities to develop skills and knowledge around food was as a key priority identified at the recent meetings we held with organisations in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
We have acted on this and are making two six hour REHIS Elementary Food and Health courses available in the autumn, and a three day RSPH Certificate in Nutrition and Health course early in 2012.
There will be a maximum of 15 places available on each of the Elementary courses and 12 places available on the Certificate course.
