Scottish Grocers Federation Healthy Living Pilot Evaluation

CFHS commissioned EKOS to produce a report on the evaluation of the SGF Healthy Living programme pilot.The pilot rolled out the training and resources available through the programme to 27 community food initiatives. The evaluation looks at the impact that the pilot has made on the community food initiatives involved, and includes case studies from a number of them. It also includes recommendations for consideration if the programme is rolled out further.

Scoping Study: Options for Collaborative Working in Glasgow

Cut-price, what cost?: How supermarkets can affect your chances of a healthy diet

The fourth in a series of reports in which the National Consumer Council (soon to become part of the new agency Consumer Focus) rate the UK's top eight supermarkets on how they help their customers shop, cook and eat more healthily. The ratings are based on the salt content of supermarkets' own-brand foods, front and back-of-pack nutrition labeling, price promotions, prevalence of sweets at the checkout, and the information and advice the supermarkets make available.

Takeway Health: how takeaway restaurants can affect your chances of a healthy diet

An interesting report on take-aways earlier in the summer. The study looked at nutritional information available to consumers using the country's leading take-away chains. It also looked at what information consumers would expect and how they would use it.
