This plan was published in 1996 outlining an ambitious plan to focus and prioritise strategies for health improvement in Scotland.

Preventing Overweight and Obesity: A Route Map Towards Healthy Weight

The Route Map was developed in partnership with CoSLA and supports a collaborative approach to making prevention of obesity key to future work. Equally Well

This report from the ministerial task group on health equalities was published in June 2008. The report highlights the £1.78 billion being spent on tackling health inequalities over the next three years. An implementation plan taking forward the report’s proposals is expected later this year.

This action plan to improve diet, increase physical activity and tackle obesity was published in June 2008.
